Per Gustavsson, PhD, is Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Stratsys with over 25 years of experience in information security, IT governance, and technology development. He holds a PhD in Simulation Engineering, with a specialization in artificial intelligence and decision support systems, and works at the intersection of technology, regulatory compliance, and strategic management.
Per is particularly focused on how small and medium-sized enterprises can work systematically with security and regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 and DORA. He is an active lecturer in cybersecurity and an affiliated researcher at the C5I Center at George Mason University, as well as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Skövde.
