Kiko Fernández‑Reyes is a core member of the Erlang/OTP team at Ericsson and a board member of the Erlang Ecosystem Foundation. He contributes to the standardisation of TS 104 198 Memory Safety, a vendor‑neutral framework for defining and evaluating software memory‑safety guarantees. Kiko holds a PhD in programming languages from Uppsala University and enjoys working at the intersection of academia and industry. When he’s not writing Erlang, he rarely turns down a padel match.
